Games for Men
- Twirl-a-bat
- Hilarious. Arrange several chairs in random order. Two teams.
Man runs around chairs to bat. Pick up bat and
hold it hanging from the handle. Bend over and
place end of handle on forehead, as if the bat is
hanging from his forehead. Spin around five times,
then run back through the chairs to the starting
point. First team done wins.

- Rag Grab
- Very rowdy, very intense agressive action. Two men play at a time.
Each tucks a rag into back waistband, Each then tries to grab the other man's rag.

- Combat Soccer
- Very rowdy, wild team action. Construct goals about as wide as a soccer goal.
Shirts or jackets can be used as "goalposts". Circle up. Count off by twos.
Ones is skins Twos are shirts. Leader holds ball. Leader declares "Here are the
rules, Ones go that way, Twos go the other way. That's it!" and he starts running with
the ball towards his goal to start the game. Havoc reigns thereafter.

- Buckets & Rope
- An old favorite. Two men each stand on an upside down paint can or metal five gallon bucket. They hold opposite ends of the same rope. Goal is to pull the other man off his bucket. Don't even try to do this with plastic buckets, they will just break.

- Balance Beam
- An old favorite. Two men stand on a beam, holding their pillows. Goal is to use the pillow to
knock the other man off the beam. Can also be done over water without the pillows, just bare-handed.
The water makes everyone slippery, which adds to the fun.

- Hit Man
- Fast action and team building. This game is fun and helps the men see how
well they know the names of the other men standing in the circle with them.
Men stand in a circle. Leader calls out one man's name. Men on each side of him instantly
form their hands into pistols and try to "shoot" the man whose name was called before he
can duck out of the line of fire. They shoot by saying "BANG!". If the named man doesn't
move fast enough, he's out. If he gets out of the way in time, whoever shot
at him last is out. If he is still in, he calls next man's name. Otherwise, the
surviving shooter calls the next man's name. When it gets down to the last three,
the Leader calls out the last name. Winner of the final shootout is winner of the game.

- Chicken fight
- Aggressive and rowdy. Frequently done in water, where splashing adds to the fun. In water,
victory is achieved by a top man getting his top-riding opponent
off balance and into the water. On land, a variation is to put a raw egg
into a baggie and tape it onto the top men's chests. Then they try to
break the other man's egg to win. This can be done with hands, or, better yet,
those long star-shaped floaty pool toy thingies that have shown up recently.
Bashing about at eggs with those things throws the center of balance way off,
and the action gets hilarious.

- Buck Buck
- Team strength and solidarity, while being rowdy. Man bends over and grabs tree,
next man puts arm around first man's back with head next to his shoulder. Next
man does same, on other side so a line of backs is formed.
Man from other team does flying mount, approaching from the
rear. One team is trying to hold the other team up, the other
team is trying to land on the line of backs and collapse it.
If the whole flying team has done their leap and are being
supported by the tree team, the last leaper holds up a hand
with either one or two fingers extended and yells
"Buck-buck how many fingers?" The man grabbing the tree yells out either "ONE"
or "TWO". If he's right the tree team wins. Else the leaper team wins.

- Ultimate Football
- Fast action, light contact. Must pass the ball after taking three steps.
Since nobody has full pads, this is usually played as two hand touch.

- Frisbee Golf
- No contact, some hilarity. Can tie something around trees and score by just
hitting the tree.

- Monkee golf
- No contact, some hilarity. One, or more, golf balls per man. Place the ball on the
ground (no tees). Make a large "hole" several feet in diameter out of some hose, jackets, etc.
Use the Iron to chip shot the ball into the "hole". Fewer strokes is better, but not as
funny. Novice golfers find some interesting places to hit the ball.
Use an Iron.
