Roserunner's Grateful Dead Page

A note about my nom-de-net of Roserunner is in order here. I invented Roserunner back in the days of USENET as my net.handle. It ties a lot of imagery together in a neat package. In Grateful Dead iconography roses symbolize beauty cultivated to perfection. Roses are also what throughbred horses race for. My family has a long history of breeding and racing throughbreds. I raced motorcycles for most of my life. Jerry Garcia put out a solo album called Run For The Roses. So, running for the roses is a natural for me. But that makes a lousy pen name, so I morphed it into Roserunner.
